My First Festival Experience

So I went to my first festival in Tomball Texas called the Rosehill Festival.  With promises of a festival event, a band, produce and many vendors with limited space so I better send her a check to save my spot.  I drove past downtown tomball about 10 miles to the country! Ahh! This was no festival at all.  A corner of grass area with broken huge tree limbs covering the stage. Overgrown grass and we were between 2 gas stations and a very dirty taco truck that the men kept coming out of and hosing their bodys down with water and smiling at us. There were 2 other vendors that was their first time there. The promoter sold cow hide and rocking chairs. She then came over and said well the band broke down.  Vendors are just not showing up and everyone pretty much just decided not to come. hmm sounds suspicious.  The lady next to me said honey I been doing this for years and all promoters lie.  Well I would like to think not but this lady... well ya I think she lied a bit! The whole day 12 people came.  I was sooooo disappointed.  Anyways I learned to never go there again.  The lady next to me also gave me lots of pointers for my future events. I got to spend time with my dad and I learned how to set up a table LOL!  Anyways I am now getting ready for a Arts, vintage and craft fair in San Francisco soooo I am hoping this will be better!

Here is the pretty flier for my next event:

Geocaching!

So on one of the last days in Evansville Joey and I decided to head out and find some geocaches! For those who don't know geocaches are hidden gps locations you find and sign or leave a treasure. There all all diffrent kinds all around.  It was soo fun!  We went to 5 different ones in 2 hours about.  This was one of the first ones and it was by a golf course.  We decided to leave an orange monster!

The next one was at an old school building.  The clue was under the old school name.  So we walked around the back.
Found the old School Number 6 name.  So I started looking on the steps and saw a small purple container under a rock!
This is how small it was!

Geocaching is sooo fun especially when you have a fun buddy and a gps devise.  I used an app on my phone for it.  Hope you enjoyed! OH by the way people that don't know about geocaching are called muggles.  So now you aren't a muggle if you didn't know about it! Congratulations.

Meet Marcus

It was a hot summer day in Spring Texas and I glanced out the window and there sat a frog in my sisters polka dotted boots!  I said "There's a frog in your boot!"  My sister ran over and we stared at him he just sat there looking at us.   My sister said I see him allot and I watch out for him when I mow the lawn.  I said that is a good spot to be then.  I shall call him Marcus!  I think he knows he is a handsome frog!  See you later Marcus.
